The cuisine of China is certainly the most ancient, and arguably one of the healthiest and most subtle in the world.

Chinese dishes reflect the regions from which they originate. Because climate and consequently, available food varies from region to region in this large country, each section has its own unique method of cooking.

Cantonese cooking is associated with the city of Canton (Guangzhou) and Southern Cantonese dishes are usually stir-fried and lightly seasoned. Rice is the staple food of this region.

The Peking (Beijing) or Mandarin style of cooking is developed in Northern China. Here the staple food is not rice but wheat flour. The flour is made into noodle, steamed and dumplings. The most famous delicacy of this region is Peking Duck.

We recommend that, if you are not familiar with Eastern cuisine, we prepare a feast of selected dishes depending on the number of people in your party and according to our chef's current favourites.

If you have a particular favourite dish, please indicate to our staff.
